    1.Application
    ① Applicable to chemical, mine, metallurgy industries where the granules are big and heavy, such as ores, blast furnace residues, coal, metal powder, phosphatic fertilizer, ammonium sulfate, building material, light industries and other units, drying of alkali sulphide, ammophos, urea, oxalate, potassium dichromate, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Manganese dioxide, ammonium carbonate, nitric acid phosphate fertilizer, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, phosphate rock, ordinary superphosphate, heavy calcium superphosphate, trisodium phosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate
    ② Drying of powder or granulated materials that have special requirements, such as HP foaming agent, alcohol residues, light calcium carbonate, active white earth, magnet powder, graphite, herbal residue, brewer’s grains
    ③ Drying of chicken, pig manure and household garbage.
    ④ Low temperature drying, need large amount of continuous drying materials.
 
    2. Structural form and work process
    ① Direct heat transfer drier
    Drying media (such as hot air, exhaust) flows into the cylinder through the inlet along or adverse the current, the undried materials entering into the cylinder through the inlet, due to the spinning cylinder and throwing board, materials are lifted to a certain height and drop down during the course of moving to the outlet from inlet, which allows the drying media and the material to contact thoroughly and the drying media transfer heat to the material to make it hot. This enables the water in the material is constantly evaporated and scattered in the cylinder to be carried by the hot air. After absorbing the vapour, the drying media (exhaust) is separated with cyclone deduster to capture the small particles and the waste air is released The materials move towards the discharging opening from the inlet opening in broken spiral routine and finally is discharged at the discharging opening. In this kind of drier the heat carrier directly touch the material to be dried and mainly conduct heat by convection. The thermal effect is relatively high and most widely used.
   ② Indirect heat transfer drier
   When the material to be dried isn’t suitable to directly contact with exhaust or hot air, the indirect heat transfer drier can be used. In this kind of drier, the heat carrier doesn’t directly contact the material whereas all the heat needed for drying is all conducted to the material through heat transferring walls.
   ③ Compound heat transfer drier
   In this kind of drier, part of the heat is transferred from heat carrier via heat transferring walls to the dried material and the other part of the heat is transferred by direct contact, which is the combination of heat transfer and convection. The thermal efficiency rate is relatively higher.
